Wednesday…
woke up early this morning, after 8! I know, and then I couldn’t fall back to sleep. As I was admiring my pretty sunflowers I bought from my local farmer’s market, I noticed a tiny black speck, which turned out be one of several caterpillars. I almost decided to pitch the flowers, since caterpillars disgust me, but then I looked it up online where I found out that it could potentially be a butterfly larvae. This one pictured is of a greenish color, the first one I saw was tinier and appeared darker. So my new experiment will be to keep these critters around and see what happens. Maybe I’ll start a butterfly (or moth) hatchery, as long as they don’t crawl on me. I would prefer butterflies, but you can’t choose the caterpillars that stow away on your flowers, I suppose.
Aside from the caterpillar discovery, today has been pretty good. Had lunch with my mother and did a little work at the library, though I get distracted easily without much to do, and a little too much freedom. Hopefully work tonight at the pizza joint won’t ruin it for me, but if I go in with a good attitude, work usually turns out okay.
Also, I actually started filling out applications for my study abroad trip, though it was very minimal. I just need a little motivation, which goes a long way.
“Blog something”
…is what my friend tells me, but the problem is I am not a “blogger” and I don’t lead a very exciting life. I suppose I can tell you about my short bike ride to Cycle Works, that resulted in a new bike light. Also, Lincoln is terrible about construction with the sidewalks closed seemingly for no reason and the roads are a mess. Oh and my phone is shut off due to lack of money…so I have no other way but to get ahold of people on Facebook, which is pretty bad and utterly lame. And my summer has just begun and I have no idea how to be constructive in any way, and I rather just ride my bike and hang out with a certain boy…and not do my resume and not have anything to do with school or post college responsibilities.
This is probably what my blog would usually consist of, if I was on here regularly, so I’m sure you are probably glad I don’t normally blog.
Ok, goodbye.
Lunch with Arthur
Went to Noodles & Co. I had the Indonesian Peanut Saute. Arthur had the Truffle Mac and Cheese. Delic. I also had a ciabatta roll and a side salad with Balsamic dressing.
Frustrated
Some people I don’t understand. Did we not plan on going to donate blood? Do you remember I don’t have a car? Weren’t you going to pick me up on the way to the blood bank? Are you stupid? Well, it’s okay I really don’t want to donate blood anyway. I almost fainted last time. Gosh, some people and I call them friends. I throw up my hands and give up.
